Ever hear the saying “mind over matter?” This election could mean way more than the elections where we vote for a president. Make your voice be heard.
Too often people think their vote doesn’t count or it’s not that important. Your vote is what keeps you free. If you don’t vote, you have no voice. It is the one thing we have to make change. The People have ALL political power. Go read your Constitution. It is in the first Article. The Minnesota took 2 years to write and get approved because people couldn’t agree.
That tells me their voice mattered! Two years to write one of the simplest Constitutions any state could have. Go read Ohio’s or Pennsylvania’s Constitutions. They are beautifully written. But Minnesota is the battle ground for group think vs. individual think so it took them a very long time to agree on what to put in there.
If you didn’t plan on voting because it’s a hassle, well then whatever comes of the world is something you can never complain about. If you don’t take part, what right do you have to be upset?
So, get out there and take care of business! The polls are pretty quiet around 7pm, so go to work, eat dinner and then go vote. BE the CHANGE. Make your voice be heard.

Your vote matters
Thanks for linking to the MN Constitution and providing context and commentary. Voting is the least one can do in terms of civic engagement. Great to see you making a case for it. Good luck today, Tracey!
